A typical race weekend begins on Friday with free practice 1 and free practice 2 sessions where the drivers get a feel of the track for the first time. On this day, after the sessions are over, you can visit the pits and catch a glimpse of a few drivers as well. On Saturdays, another practice session takes place followed by the all-important qualifying session. On Sunday, the main race is help. Right after this, fans can often enjoy a concert by world-renowned artists.
With the increasing popularity of the sport in mind, Formula 1 has introduced sprint races into its calendar. On Sprint Weekends, a free practice session and Qualifying takes place on Fridays, another free practice session takes place on Saturdays along with a Sprint race, which is a fast and furious 100-kilometer race with no pit stops. Sunday’s schedule remains unchanged.
While every Formula 1 race is eventful and enjoyable in its own way, Austrian GP, Bahrain GP, Belgian GP, British GP, and Brazillian GP are sure to be among the most thrilling.
