10th November, Friday
Practice 1: The weekend's first practice session allows riders to get a feel for the track and adjust their bikes.
Practice 2: The second practice session of the weekend gives riders a chance to fine-tune their settings further and prepare for qualifying.
11th November, Saturday
Free Practice: Riders get a final chance to practice before qualifying. This session is essential for riders to finalize their settings and ensure their bikes are ready for qualifying.
Qualifying 1 & 2: The two timed Friday practice sessions promote the fastest ten riders straight into Q2. The rest face a Q1 shoot-out where the quickest two will also go through to the final Q2 round to determine the first 12 grid slots—those eliminated start from 13th and below, based on their Q1 times.
Sprint: The sprint race will occur on Saturday afternoon and will be half the distance from the main race. The results of qualifying will set the grid for the sprint race. The top 9 finishers in the sprint race will be awarded half points towards the championship. The sprint race results will not have any bearing on the grid for the main race.
12th November, Sunday
Race Day: The riders are ready to race for the checkered flag in the Moto GP 2023 season finale. The grid is set, and the tension is high. Who will be crowned champion? Who will crash out? Who will make a surprise podium? Only time will tell.

Saturday: Qualifying for the Moto3 and Moto2 classes, and the Moto GP sprint race.
Sunday: The Moto3 and Moto2 races, and the Moto GP race.
In 2023, Moto GP introduced sprint races at all Grands Prix. The sprint races were held on Saturday afternoons at 15:00 and were approximately half the length of the main race. Points were awarded to the top nine finishers on a 12-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis, similar to the Superpole races in the Superbike World Championship. The grids for both the sprint race and the main race were set by qualifying, which retained its Q1-Q2 format. There was also one less practice session and warm-up session. Sprint race wins were not considered as regular Grands Prix wins and instead had their own "Sprint race wins" statistic.
